The O’Fallon Community Foundation (OCF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was established in 1998 by a group of residents passionate about preserving O’Fallon’s rich history. With seed money from Mastercard’s new local world headquarters, the OCF set out to recreate Zumwalt’s Fort.

What began as a seemingly simple project transformed into a multi-year, pain-staking journey to build the fort as it once existed. Now, all who visit Zumwalt Park can not only marvel at the authenticity and beauty of the Fort, but they can learn about its historical significance via a docent-led tour.

Recently, new board members have joined the Foundation, seeking to take this passion and invest it even deeper into the community. The Foundation aims to maximize the quality of life for all of O’Fallon’s residents, with a strong focus on history, community, enrichment, and progress.
