Zumwalt’s Fort
The pinnacle of the O’Fallon Community Foundation’s accomplishments is the construction of Zumwalt’s Fort. The Fort is located alongside the Heald Home in Fort Zumwalt Park and was painstakingly rebuilt to ensure complete historical accuracy. Zumwalt’s Fort is now open for tours, where visitors can learn more about O’Fallon’s rich history and its early members.

Project HOME
Project HOME operates with the belief that O’Fallon residents, regardless of their income, deserve a safe and healthy home in which to live. The O’Fallon Community Foundation has raised over $500,000 since 2004 in support of this program, providing eligible O’Fallon homeowners with emergency home repairs and accessibility needs.

Police Week
Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the O’Fallon Community Foundation, the O’Fallon Police Department sent three officers to National Peace Officers Week in Washington D.C. for the first time in 2024. This opportunity afforded these officers with a life-changing opportunity to honor, connect, and learn, coming back energized and ready to share the experience with the entirety of their department.

Swim Scholarships
With the rate of drowning deaths on the rise, the O’Fallon Community Foundation is committed to providing scholarships for the Renaud Center’s six-week long swim lesson programs. These lifesaving programs are integral in ensuring the confidence, health, and safety of the O’Fallon community. This program is new in 2024.

Wrapped Traffic Boxes
There are roughly fifty traffic boxes throughout the City of O’Fallon. In keeping with its history-focused roots, the O’Fallon Community Foundation has been working with sponsors to wrap each of those boxes with photos of historic O’Fallon. You can notice some of these already at the intersections of Bryan Road & Mexico Road, Sonderen & Veterans Memorial Parkway, and Main Street & Elm, and Main Street & St. Joesph.

St. Charles Mayors’ Charity Ball recipients
The O’Fallon Community Foundation is a proud recipient of the 2025 St. Charles County Mayors’ Charity Ball Grant! This funding allows for the creation of a brand-new Recreation Scholarship Program to ensure that all O’Fallon residents, regardless of income, have access to youth programming like team sports and tumbling, summer camp options, adult programming like water aerobics and more!
