Zumwalt’s Fort
The pinnacle of the O’Fallon Community Foundation’s accomplishments is the construction of Zumwalt’s Fort. The Fort is located alongside the Heald Home in Fort Zumwalt Park and was painstakingly rebuilt to ensure complete historical accuracy. Project HOME
Project HOME operates with the belief that O’Fallon residents, regardless of their income, deserve a safe and healthy home in which to live. The O’Fallon Community Foundation has raised over $500,000 since 2004 in support of this program, providing eligible O’Fallon homeowners with emergency home repairs and accessibility needs. Police Week
Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the O’Fallon Community Foundation, the O’Fallon Police Department is provided the opportunity to send officers to National Peace Officers Week in Washington D.C. This opportunity affords these officers with a life-changing opportunity to honor, connect, and learn, coming back energized and ready to share the experience with the entirety of their department.

Recreation Scholarships
In response to an increasing rate of drowning deaths, the O’Fallon Community Foundation committed to providing scholarships for the Renaud Center’s six-week long swim lesson programs in 2024. These lifesaving programs have been integral in ensuring the confidence, health, and safety of the O’Fallon community.

Since that time, the Swim Scholarship Program evolved into the current day Recreation Scholarship Program, thanks to generous funding received via the St. Charles County Mayors’ Charity Ball grant. Expanding the program to include recreation activities such as youth sports, tumbling, water aerobics, fitness classes, and camps reinforces that recreation is for everyone, further removing barriers for residents with disabilities, aging residents, and residents who are low-to-moderate income. Wrapped Traffic Boxes
There are roughly fifty traffic boxes throughout the City of O’Fallon. In keeping with its history-focused roots, the O’Fallon Community Foundation has been working with sponsors to wrap each of those boxes with photos of historic O’Fallon. You can experience these boxes throughout O’Fallon, including along Highway K, Main Street, Bryan Road, and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

St. Charles Mayors’ Charity Ball recipients
The O’Fallon Community Foundation is a proud recipient of the 2025 St. Charles County Mayors’ Charity Ball Grant! This funding allows for the creation of a brand-new Recreation Scholarship Program to ensure that all O’Fallon residents, regardless of income, have access to youth programming like team sports and tumbling, summer camp options, adult programming like water aerobics and more!
