Founded in 1998 by dedicated residents and seeded by Mastercard, the O’Fallon Community Foundation began with a mission to restore Zumwalt’s Fort. What started as a simple idea became a years-long effort to authentically rebuild one of O’Fallon’s most treasured landmarks. Today, visitors can explore the Fort and connect with local history through guided tours that bring the past to life.
